Another batch of Russian fake nuclear news about Ukraine refuted by NSDC
This time there were claims that Ukraine carried out nuclear developments in order to "blow up European security."
“The CCD under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine reports: Russia continues to misinform the global community about Ukraine allegedly carrying out nuclear developments in order to ‘blow up European security,’” the center’s post reads.
As evidence, the enemy presented a map of uranium deposits on the territory of Ukraine.
“Our state has vast deposits of various minerals,” the CCD wrote. “But their presence is not equated to the presence of weapons of mass destruction, of which the Kremlin misinforms its own population.
“The enemy is resorting to low-grade manipulation: Firstly, as it understands that Russia cannot avoid coming before an International Tribunal, it is therefore already trying to condition the media environment to justify its crimes, and secondly, thus, the enemy is trying to divide the EU and NATO, which have consolidated against the backdrop of full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine."
The Center for Counteracting Disinformation says that in order to split international solidarity with Ukraine, Russia will continue to resort to provocations and manipulations on the world stage, in particular, through the involvement of recruited "foreign experts" and paid rallies in support of Russian aggression.
