Russia regroups forces in Black Sea, risk of amphibious landings remains — Odesa authorities

The ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet continue to regroup in the Black Sea, and the danger of an enemy amphibious assault on the city of Odesa remains, head of Odesa Regional Military Administration Serhiy Bratchuk has said on the Telegram messenger.

“The ships of the Black Sea Fleet continue certain maneuvers and regroupings,” he said.

“So far, it is known that there is one ship and one submarine with cruise missiles on board, as well as several large landing ships.”

According to Bratchuk, the risk of an amphibious landing remains, but so far there is no evidence of any special preparation of the enemy to attack from the sea.

At the same time, the enemy is building up combat potential on Snake Island. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are, however, carrying out deterrent measures, Bratchuk said.

He also said that the previous night was a quiet one in Odesa city and the oblast, with no enemy attacks.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has already lost 13 ships and boats.
