Russian artillery fire forces hundreds of people in Lysychansk to live in cellars
Many of them are without food or water supplies, according to the message.
Lysychansk is situated just across the Siverskyi Donets River from Severodonetsk, which has become a major flashpoint of the war in recent weeks.
“Children, women, seniors are (sitting) in cellars; emergency workers continue to supply people with food and water; in particular, humanitarian aid and over 30 tons of water were distributed across the city yesterday,” SES said.
The message said that Russian invasion forces continue to attack Lysychansk, to the point of razing it to the ground.
Defensible terrain allows the city to remain unassailable as of yet, but it lies well within the range of Russian artillery.
