He was speaking during a discussion at the Ukraine House in Davos, Switzerland, answering a question about the possible liberation of Russian-occupied Crimea.

“I think today it would take hundreds of thousands of killed soldiers from our side,” Zelensky said.

“I’m not counting people from the enemy's side,” the president went on.

Earlier, the Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, said that Ukraine would fight until Russian forces leave all its territories.

He said Ukraine had to enter Russian-occupied Crimea at least by the end of 2022.
