Inflation in Ukraine climbs to 26.6%

As of October, the consumer price index in Ukraine was 26.6% higher, compared to October 2021, the State Statistics Service reported on Nov. 10.
Inflation is picking up pace in the country, as YoY rates for September, August, and July were at 24.6%, 23.8%, and 22.2%, accordingly.
In October, the National Bank of Ukraine forecast annual inflation rate in the country to be at 30% for 2022, compared to 10% in 2021, 5% in 2020, and 4.1% in 2019.
