Italian company accused of supplying Russian military, even after invasion

Italian company Danieli continues to supply Russian the military industry with machines used to manufacture nuclear submarines and tanks, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense said in a Facebook post on June 20.

According to the message, these shipments have been ongoing even after Feb. 24 – the day Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

“Supporting Russian military (-industrial) complex goes against lawful and moral considerations,” the ministry said.

Russia continues to suffer major military losses in Ukraine, with estimated figures – as provided by Ukraine’s General Staff on June 21 – as follows (increase on previous day in parentheses):
