Microsoft will expand its assistance to Ukraine by $100 million in digital infrastructure, and help implement various economic management projects by the end of 2023, Microsoft VP Brad Smith said during a meeting with Ukraine’s Digital Transformation Minister, Mykhailo Fedorov on Nov. 3.
This assistance will help bolster the country’s critical infrastructure, as government institutions and other sectors continue to use Microsoft’s cloud computing services, free of charge.
The company also pledged to help with the implementation of various digital projects in Ukraine, related to court filings, customs offices, healthcare, and education.
Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, Microsoft has allocated more than $400 million to supporting Ukraine, and was the first tech giant to pull its products from the Russian market, back in March.
At the same time, Russian media recently reported that Microsoft has allegedly resumed sales in Russia.
