Ukraine’s Nova Poshta resumes services following disruption, denies phishing attack

Nova Poshta, a major Ukrainian delivery service, has restored all services following a major disruption, with the company refuting claims of a phishing attack, the company said an announcement on May 19.

According to Nova Poshta, the technical malfunction that occurred on May 17 and 18 has been resolved, and the company has successfully resumed operations of its mobile application.

“All Nova Poshta services are now operational,” Nova Posit said in a statement.

“The company has restored functionality to the mobile application and the authorization service. All services within the mobile application are accessible.”

Customers can now create shipping labels, make online payments, and send and receive packages through post offices and automated parcel terminals.

Furthermore, all services, including card and cash payments, money transfers, and credit options for package processing, are available at the company’s branches. Customers can also choose from various payment methods when paying for courier services.

The company emphasized that the disruption was not caused by a phishing attack.

As previously reported, on the evening of May 17, the Nova Poshta mobile application and online services experienced instability. Users faced difficulties logging in, checking shipment statuses, making remote payments, and collecting packages from automated terminals.
