Invading Russian forces have destroyed and looted a base of the UkrLandFarming group of companies (UkrLandFarming Agro Holding) in Kherson region and caused losses worth $250-$270 million, Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Honcharenko said in a Telegram messenger post on Nov. 13.
According to the lawmaker, the invaders took away 100,000 tons of sunflower and corn seeds, stole harvesters, tractors and unmanned aerial vehicles for land cultivation.
In addition, the Russians stole almost everything that was on the territory of the base, such as fuel and lubricants and seed material, as well as plant protection products worth $60 million.
Honcharenko added the invaders had also caused damage to the Chornobayivka poultry farm, the largest such farm in Europe, which is owned by the UkrLandFarming group of companies.
The MP said more than four million hens and about 700,000 chickens had been killed, and their bodies left to rot.
