All nine reactors of nuclear power plants located in the Rivne, Khmelnitsky, and Mykolaiv oblasts are working at full capacity, Ukraine’s nuclear operator Energoatom reported on Dec. 28.
It denied earlier rumors, spread on social media, that Ukraine’s nuclear reactors were non-operational.
On Dec. 22, Energoatom reported that a ninth nuclear reactor had been reconnected to the electrical grid.
The Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant remains under occupation by Russian forces, and is not included in the list of functional nuclear reactors, the company added.
