Startup Salto X has raised more than EUR 5 million to develop a Web3 alternative to stock options, according to a message posted on the startup’s site on July 8.
The Web3 solution is intended to simplify startup stock option programs for remote employees. The project offers a solution that replaces traditional employee option programs with distributable tokens using a smart contract.
The startup received the first round of investment from ByFounders, Blockwall, Box Group, 3Commas and a number of angel investors.
The startup was founded by the co-founder of the Estonian unicorn “Pipedrive”, Ragnar Sass, and the head of his other project, Kyiv-based coworking LIFT99, Tanya Chaikovska.
Earlier last month an online platform for investing amounts of $10,000 or more in startups was launched in Ukraine.
