Ciklum opens development center in India
Ukrainian IT company Ciklum has opened a development center in India, with the new delivery hub part of the company's strategy for geographic expansion and further business up-scaling.
Major software developer Ciklum, an IT company founded in Kyiv in 2002, has opened a development center in India, the company has said in a statement.
This hub is the second for the company in the region – Ciklum already has an office in Pakistan.
“The new development center in India is testament to our global vision in both geography and technology and business verticals,” Andriy Dehtiariov, Ciklum’s vice president on engineering, said on Dec. 17.
“I’m looking forward to the further development of our engineering teams in this country.”
Ciklum's new office is in one of India’s largest technology centers – Chennai (formerly Madras). The Ciklum team in India is expected to grow rapidly in the near future.
The company said that by entering the Indian talent market Ciklum would be able to accelerate the search for and recruitment of talent, and its presence in the city and its time zone would also facilitate better communication with global customers.
Ciklum has expanded rapidly since its founding in Kyiv in 2002: In September Ciklum announced the purchase of Czech software developer CN Group, saying the deal would allow the company to accelerate growth in the Central and Eastern Europe markets, as well as in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Ciklum is a leading global digital product development and digital services company working with Fortune 500 companies and fast-growing organizations. The company's management office is located in the UK.
