Ukrainian low-cost Bees Airline to fly to Barcelona and Tbilisi
Ukrainian low-cost carrier Bees Airline is preparing to launch two more international flights, according to a press release published by Lviv’s Danylo Halytskyi International Airport on Dec. 22.
The airline, which has operated a domestic Kyiv-Lviv route since Dec. 20, is to launch flights from Lviv to Barcelona, Spain, and Tbilisi, Georgia. The twice-weekly flights to Barcelona will start on Dec. 22.
The Lviv-Tbilisi route will be launched on Dec. 28 and will follow the same frequency.
Earlier, on Dec. 20, Bees Airline began operating flights from Lviv to Prague on Mondays and Fridays.
The Bees Airline carrier was registered at the end of 2019, and began operating in March. Based at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport, the company's fleet consists of four Boeing 737-800 airplanes, each with a passenger capacity of 189.
As previously reported, the low-cost airline launched its first domestic flight in Ukraine in September, choosing the Kyiv-Odesa route as its first destination.
