Ukrainian ride-sharing taxi service Uklon plans to launch services in new foreign countries soon, company COO and co-founder Serhii Smus told Liga.net on April 7.

"We have been hesitating to expand for a long time," Smus said.

“In May 2022, we planned to enter the first country, the first of three countries in 2022. In another country we wanted to launch a franchise.”

The company plans to do this very soon, possibly as early as April, though the COO did not specify which countries are in consideration.

"Initially, we plan to enter two countries (which I will not name yet) with a break of three to four months," Smus said.

He added that another company will enter with a partner.

Uklon started operating in its first foreign market when it entered Moldova in December 2021.
