Ukrainian air defenses shot down a Russian cruise missile over the village of Naslavcea, in the district of Oknytsia, Moldova on Oct. 31, Moldova’s Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a post on Facebook.

The United States and its allies have accused Russia of wasting the time of the UN Security Council and spreading “conspiracy theories,” by again pushing wild claims about dirty bombs, chemical weapons, and offensive biological research in Ukraine.

Another mass grave, containing at least 17 bodies, including those of Ukrainian soldiers, has been discovered in the Borova district of Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine’s National Police reported on Facebook on Oct. 27.

A court in the city of Kladno, the CzechRepublic, has sentenced bloggers Patrik Tušl and Tomáš Čermák to prison for insulting Ukrainian refugees, the local newspaper Novinky reported on Oct. 26.

Putin is a dictator with staggering riches and a nuclear arsenal. In February, he audaciously started “World War III”, and upended the world order, by invading Ukraine, but only the initial victim has been directly fighting back. That is because the West and the rest are kept at bay by Putin’s ultimate weapon of mass destruction which is that he frightens foes or targets into believing that he’s capable of anything. So punches have been pulled and NATO has only given Kyiv enough weapons to avoid losing, but not enough as yet to win. 

Italian senator Massimiliano Romeo’s comment that Ukraine should not make all of the decisions about the country’s future does not reflect Italian government policy, Ukraine’s foreign ministry has said.
