Ukrainian animal rights organization UAnimals is to raffle off an authentic autograph of famous U.S. movie star Leonardo DiCaprio, UAnimals said in an Instagram post on June 27.
The raffle aims to raise funds for the benefit of animals affected by Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The prize was donated by U.S. memorabilia collector Alex Krilov.
A minimum donation of UAH 300 ($10) is required to take part in the raffle.
“The (actor’s) signature has been authenticated by experts, and comes with a corresponding certificate and a lifetime warranty from the World Memorabilia company, so no need to worry about if it’s genuine,” UAnimals said.
The winner will be randomly selected on July 1. The funds raised will be used to rescue animals who have suffered because of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
“Leonardo DiCaprio has been involved in endangered species conservation for many years,” the message said.
“On top of that, Leo raises worldwide awareness of climate change, wildlife and marine ecosystem preservation.”
