Brits donate for the army, Germans – for medical aid. Which nations help Ukraine the most?

In less than two months of the UNITED24 fundraising platform, donors worldwide have contributed over $62.8 million. Citizens of the United States, Germany, the UK, France, Canada, and Ukraine were the most active donors. The most popular area of support is Defence and Demining
Ukrainians were the most eager to support the army (70%). They are followed by the British, French, and Canadians (60%).
U.S. citizens donated almost equally to Defence and Medical Aid. The Germans sent 25% of their contributions to the army, preferring the medical aid – 65% of donations.
"As of today, residents of 89 countries have joined UNITED24," says UNITED24 coordinator Yaroslava Gres.
“People in various parts of the world are creating mini-fundraising initiatives to raise funds for Ukraine's victory. There’s a manager of an American hotel who put information about UNITED24 with a call to donate at the reception. And residents of the Canadian city of Eganville organized a charity auction that raised CAD 90,000 for medical aid through UNITED24. We are incredibly grateful for all the support we receive from around the world."
A total of 323 people have signed up to make to monthly donations, which now total $24,000 per month. The largest ones are PLN 500 per month and $250 per week, and the smallest, but just as important to us, is $5 per week.
