The flag of the “DNR” – a sham republic created by the Kremlin in part of Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast in 2014 – can be seen used as a shoe cleaner in the U.S. Congress in a video that has gone viral on social media.

The video published on Dec. 8 by Serhiy Prytula, a Ukrainian public figure and activist.

Along with other representatives of the Ukrainian volunteer movement, Prytula was invited there by the Commission for Security and Cooperation in Europe (Helsinki Commission).

Representatives of Razom for Ukraine, Blue/Yellow for Ukraine and the Come Back Alive Foundation spoke to U.S. congressmen about their work to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities and support its civil society.

After that, Kyle Parker, the representative of the Helsinki Commission, who at one time stood behind the so-called “Magnitsky law”, decided to demonstrate his attitude towards the Kremlin puppets by using the “DNR” flag to clean his shoes, after which others in the audience joined him.
