Ukrainian Premier League outsider club signs top English graduate

22-year-old London Tottenham Hotspur FC graduate Rodel Richards has been transferred to Ukrainian FC Vorskla Poltava, the official website of the Poltava club stated on Oct. 4.
Richards has played on various Tottenham youth teams, though his only experience at the professional level has been with the Bulgarian FC Hebar Pazardzhik, which he joined in the summer – but left the team in September without playing a single match.
The striker will play for Vorskla as number 89.
Richards is expected to make his debut in the Ukrainian Premier League’s round 6 match against Chernomorets Odesa on Oct. 8.
In the previous round of UPL, Vorskla beat Inhulets 1-0, scoring the first win of the season, which helped them avoid relegation.
