Ukrainian mixed martial arts fighter Yaroslav Amosov defeated the interim American champ, Logan Storley, successfully defending his welterweight title at the main event of Bellator 291 mixed martial arts tournament held in Dublin, Ireland, on Feb. 25, Bellator MMA said on Twitter on Feb. 26.
Amosov won the fight via unanimous decision: 50:45, 50:45, 50:45.
This is the second victory for the Ukrainian fighter over Storley after his success in November 2020, when he won by a split decision.
Amosov was scheduled to fight British MMA fighter Michael Page in May 2022, but withdrew following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
He became the first ever Ukrainian Bellator champion in a fight against Brazilian Douglas Lima in June 2021.
