Ukrainian singer Max Barskih has released a new song titled “Don’t f*ck with Ukraine,” which he calls a soundtrack to support the fighting spirit of the Ukrainians.
According to the singer, on the basis of the lyrical military lullaby “Let There Be Spring,” he wanted to create an international song that will show the strength of Ukrainians around the world.
Therefore, in addition to verses in English, references to Ukrainian folklore are used in the song, which Barskih record in Lviv.
“Many people from the very beginning did not believe in Ukraine, and thought that our people would lose courage and our army would not be strong and courageous enough,” Barskih said.
“However, for the third month in a row, our state has been heroically fighting the Russian invasion. And this precedent is changing not only our country, but the whole world. Our example is intended to inspire other nations.”
