The Netflix streaming service has released an official clip for a special episode of David Letterman’s “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction” series with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The teaser video was published on Netflix’s YouTube channel on Dec. 7.
The episode was filmed during Letterman’s visit to Kyiv in October. The venue is the Maidan Nezalezhnosti metro station.
The episode with the Ukrainian president will premiere on Dec. 12.
The clip shows Letterman arriving in Kyiv by train, as well as archive footage of Zelenskyy and his team after the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
“I’ve never done anything quite like this,” Letterman said in the clip as he was descending the escalator in the Kyiv Metro.
In addition, the clip shows the first seconds of the conversation with the Ukrainian president.
