The Steam gaming platform now has a section dedicated solely to Ukrainian developers, thanks to the efforts of PlayUa — a tech and gaming news website, the site reported on Sept. 28.

PlayUa hopes to popularize Ukrainian game developers – and reveal that some of the most popular games of recent years were made thanks to the efforts of Ukrainians.

The PlayUa curator page (as Steam calls recommended game playlists) contains games from a variety of genres and studios: from indie developers to large companies with a worldwide reputation, as well as products released by mostly Ukrainian teams.

PlayUa notes that almost all of them have Ukrainian localizations.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian games released by Russian publishers will be specially marked.

The PlayUa team also noted that they created a curator page for Russian-made games as well – though in this case, they say, it’s to let gamers know what to avoid.
