Ukrainian soldiers sometimes find some rather unusual companions at the front line.
One of the soldiers has even found a hog piglet and feeds it with milk.
A video published on social media shows a tame piglet who follows his human owner everywhere and isn't afraid of other soldiers.
Sometimes wild animals wander into the trenches, looking for the company of Ukrainian soldiers.
One lucky company inherited a beaver that settled in nicely and didn't want to leave. Other units have seen pigs, cats, birds, stray dogs, and even cows wander over to Ukrainian positions.
