Members of the famed German rock band Rammstein unfurled the Ukrainian flag at a concert in Warsaw, Poland, on July 16.

Notably, keyboard player Christian Lorenz revealed the blue and yellow flag while moving through a crowd of fans in an inflatable boat.

The concert was held at the National Stadium in the Polish capital city, as part of Rammstein’s Europe Stadium Tour 2022.

This is not the first time the German rock band has expressed support for Ukraine, following the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of the country.

Earlier, Rammstein unfurled a Ukrainian flag at a concert in Zurich, Switzerland. Additionally, Rammstein frontman and lead vocalist Till Lindemann helped refugees from Ukraine receive first aid at the Berlin train station early in the war.

On March 3, Rammstein also published a post on Facebook in three languages: English, Ukrainian and Russian. In this post, the musicians expressed their regret about the start of the full-scale to the Ukrainian people.

"The band Rammstein wishes to express its support for the nation of Ukraine as it resists the shocking attack perpetrated by the Russian government,” Rammstein wrote.

"Above all at this moment, we feel particular grief for the suffering of the Ukrainian people.”
