A propagandist from the Russian state propaganda outlet "Komsomolskaya Pravda" was caught in a hot mic moment where he revealed his true feelings about the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam, in a video clip that went viral on social media on June 20.
It was shared, among others, by advisor to the Ukrainian interior ministry, Anton Heraschenko.
The Russian propagandist was responding to reports that it was unsafe to swim in the Black Sea due to the breach of the Kakhovka Dam.
"I realize that it's sh*t, but should I have talked about it?” one host said to another.
“You even mentioned that it would be better to avoid the Black Sea [as a topic]. I was shocked by your statements. I don't want to be f*cked off because of [speaking about] that.”
After the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam by Russian invaders, there has been a significant deterioration in water quality around the Dnipro estuary.
This has led to the closure of beaches by the Odesa city council on June 18. As a result of the man-made catastrophe, thousands of fish and other marine wildlife have perished, with scores washing up on shore.
