The goalkeeper of Ukrainian club Vorskla Poltava and the national team of Ukraine, Dmytro Riznyk, is to play for Shakhtar Donetsk, the club’s official website reported on Feb. 11.

The contract with the player is to last until 2028.

Riznyk made his debut in the Ukrainian Premier League in October 2019 and was a finalist in the Ukrainian Cup in his first season.

The goalkeeper played 80 matches for Vorskla, and has played in the Europa Conference League.

As part of the Ukrainian U20 national team, he was a winner of the 2019 World Youth Championship.

In November 2021, Riznyk made his debut for the main national team, for which he has played two matches so far.

Earlier, Shakhtar announced the signing of 18-year-old Venezuelan forward Kevin Kelsey.

Before that, defender Yaroslav Rakytskyi returned to the Donetsk club.

Shakhtar also completed the transfer of the Georgian defender Giorgi Gocholeishvili.
