The Ukrainian delegation has taken part in the 2022 Winter Olympics opening ceremony in Beijing, China.

Olympic freestyle champion Oleksandr Abramenko and figure skater Oleksandra Nazarova were Ukraine’s flag-bearers at the event.
Ukraine will be represented at this years Olympics by 45 athletes competing across 12 disciplines, including biathlon and freestyle.

The Beijing Olympic Games will be held from Feb. 4 to Feb. 20. The city is set to host over 3,000 athletes competing for 109 awards across 15 sports.
