Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, who holds WBO, WBA Super, IBF, and IBO heavyweight titles, will donate UAH 13.8 million ($370,000) to rebuild the village of Moschun, Kyiv Oblast, Ukrainian charity platform Newukraine announced on Dec. 23.
"I will support the charity platform Newkraine with a donation," the message quotes Usyk.
"I call all our friends, celebrities, businesses, and international foundations to join Newkraine's initiative. Ukraine needs our help right now."
The donation will go towards Ukrainian companies constructing dozens of modular homes in Moschun, using modern fabrication processes.
Moshchun was largely ruined by invading Russian troops in early 2022.
