Ukrainian hip-hop band TNMK or Tanok na Maidani Kongo (Dance at the Congo Square) on July 11 released a song dedicated to the temporarily occupied town of Enerhodar in Zaporizhzhya Oblast.

The new song, titled "Enerhodar is Ukraine," is dedicated to the town, which is located next to Europe's largest nuclear power plant, Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. The town has been under Russian occupation for more than four months.

"A satellite town, a working town," TNMK wrote under the music video on YouTube.

"Invaders/Russians/orcs (delete as necessary) have occupied Enerhodar, they're killing, torturing and terrorizing the population in an attempt to intimidate, break and convince everyone that the occupation is permanent. It's not true. Because Enerhodar is Ukraine."

Bandmates Oleh "Fahot" Mykhailyuta, who features in the music video for the song, and the lyricist Oleksandr "Fozzi" Sydorenko remind everyone that even though Russia occupied part of Ukraine as a result of the war, Ukrainians will never accept the fact that “the sick Russian empire is trying to return Ukraine to Soviet times.”

"Every decimeter of our land is an inseparable part of Ukraine. This is an axiom," the bandmates said.

"Deep respect to those who still remain on the other side. And waiting for the moment when the truth wins. We will definitely come back, meet and hug. Because Enerhodar is Ukraine."
