Ukraine’s Old Lion Publishing House has won the 2023 Bologna Prize for the Best Children’s Publishers of the Year in Europe, the publishing house wrote on Facebook on March 6.

The award is presented to the best publishers from around the world in nominations from six geographic regions (Africa, Central and South America, North America, Asia, Oceania, and Europe).

“It’s like the Oscars, but in the world of children’s books, it’s like the Nobel Prize, but for publishers,” the report says.
