WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and IBO world heavyweight boxing champion, Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, is raring for a potential fight with WBC belt holder Briton Tyson Fury, Parimatch reported on Aug 9.
“When the rematch (with Anthony Joshua) is over, I think Tyson Fury will not want to miss the opportunity to unify all the belts,” said the undefeated Crimean boxer. “I think it's possible. I think it will happen, with God’s help.”
The rematch between Usyk and Joshua will take place in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Aug. 20, 2022
In the first fight, Usyk defeated Joshua by unanimous decision and became the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion.
Fury defeated his compatriot Dillian Whyte in his last fight by knockout. At the end of the fight, Fury announced his retirement, but a few days ago he declared that he was returning to the ring.
