Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has presented awards to public, state and cultural figures, volunteers, media workers, athletes, and ordinary people on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day.

Relevant decree No. 593/2022 has been posted on the president’s official website.

Among the volunteers, awards were presented to Vitaliy Deynega, Serhiy Prytula, Yuriy Sapronov, and Taras Chmut.

Actors, TV presenters, singers, media workers, and others also received state awards.

Along with public figures, the “Order for Courage” or “Order of Merit” were also awarded to ordinary people from various professions who had showed exceptional courage during full-scale military operations in Ukraine: these are drivers, locksmiths, mechanics, heads of city and village councils, doctors, and so on.
