11-year-old boy, trapped under debris for six hours, dies in Mykolaiv hospital

An 11-year-old boy who was found by rescuers after six hours under the rubble of his home, destroyed by a Russian missile, died in Mykolaiv hospital, head of Mykolaiv regional military administration Vitaliy Kim reported on Oct. 14.
Kim that the boy was brought to the regional hospital for treatment, but had died there.
“I’m speechless,” said Kim. “(The Russians) are animal-terrorists.”
Russian missiles hit the residential building in the city of Mykolaiv where the boy lived in the early hours of Oct. 13. The top two floors of the building were completely destroyed, and apartments from the third to the first floor were badly damaged. In total, the Russian invaders fired eight S-300 missiles at Mykolaiv in the Oct. 13 attack.
An 11-year-old boy was pulled out from under the rubble of the house after spending six hours trapped under debris.
The death toll as a result of the Oct. 13 Russian missile attack on Mykolaiv has increased to four people, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported earlier. Three civilians were among them. A Ukrainian sapper from the armed forces was also killed.
