Ukrainian aviation and artillery conducted successful strikes on Russian positions, reports General Staff

Ukrainian aviation and artillery conducted a number of effective strikes on Russian positions over the past day, Ukraine’s General Staff said in their morning update on Dec. 16 on Facebook.
According to the military, Ukraine conducted 22 air strikes on Russian troop and materiel concentrations, as well as three strikes on the positions of the Russian anti-aircraft missile systems.
The Ukrainian military also shot down two Orlan-10 UAVs.
Additionally, Ukrainian forces struck five enemy command points, four concentrations of manpower, six artillery positions, two ammunition depots, and a fuel and lubricants depot.
Earlier, Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov stated that Ukrainian air defense systems have increased their interception efficiency from 50% to 80%.
Russia launched another mass missile strike against Ukraine on Dec. 16. 37 of 40 missiles aimed at Kyiv were intercepted by the capital’s air defense systems.
