300 Russian troops neutralized in Donetsk Oblast

The Ukrainian military destroyed about 300 Russian troops, who were preparing for another attack near Mayorsk, Donetsk Oblast, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in their morning Facebook update on Oct. 29.
60 more Russian troops, reportedly lightly wounded, were taken to medical facilities in the occupied town of Horlivka. Another 20 Russian soldiers are estimated to have been neutralized by the Ukrainian army in Chervonopopivka, Luhansk Oblast, and about 30 sustained wounds of varying severity.
Over the past day, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled enemy attacks near three locations: Vodiane, Kamyanka, and Nevelske in Donetsk Oblast.
Russians carried out four missile and up to 25 air strikes on Oct. 28, conducted more than 70 attacks from multiple rocket launchers, and struck at critical infrastructure and civilian housing. In total, the invading forces attacked more than 35 settlements, the General Staff reported.
Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation conducted 24 strikes on the clusters of weapons and military equipment, as well as positions of the Russian air defense systems. Ukrainian air defense units shot down two Su-25 attack aircraft, one Mi-8 helicopter, and a UAV on various axes. Missile and artillery troops hit the positions of a self-propelled artillery battery and other important Russian military objects.
