50 Russian soldiers and 17 vehicles destroyed on southern front, military says

The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 50 Russian soldiers and 17 pieces of materiel over the course of a single day during the ongoing liberation of Kherson Oblast, the Ukrainian military’s Operational Command South reported on Oct. 17.
These figures include:
- two tanks;
- three large-caliber Msta howitzers;
- three Hyacinth guns;
- a self-propelled gun mount,
- a mortar;
- a Tor anti-aircraft missile system;
- an electronic warfare station;
- three units of armored vehicles.
The Ukrainian military also damaged a Grad multiple launch rocket system and three units of engineering equipment.
