Russian occupiers have seized 80% of the territory of Luhansk Oblast, the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Haidai, wrote on his channel on the Telegram messenger service on the evening of April 20.

"Let's be straightforward about what's happening: Yes, 80% of our territories are now controlled by rascists (Russian fascists),” Haidaiwrote. “Kreminna is under the ogres, Rubizhne and Popasna — in part." 

At the same time, according to him, the fighting continues and the situation may change at any moment.

"The shelling has intensified. They're firing so heavily that people can't get out of their bomb shelters. In the occupied territories, the Russians are looting, breaking into apartments, and seizing cars."
