Air Force says they need missiles for German IRIS-T the most for air defense

Ukraine is mostly in need of missiles for the German IRIS-T air defense system, Ukrainian Air Force Command spokesperson Yuriy Ihnat said on national television on Nov. 27.
"Most of all, I would like to have enough ammunition for IRIS-T,” Ihnat said.
“This is a really excellent complex, in fact a new generation of air defense systems... We need even more of this weapon because it is designed to replace our old systems,” Ihnat said.
He said he wouldn’t reveal any more specific details about the missile due to for security reasons.
"Of course, if there are concerns, if the West provides us with air defence systems, we will sort this out so there won’t be any shortage (of missiles)," he added.
