Air strike on Rivne Oblast: TV tower damage leaves locals without television, radio
The head of the Rivne Oblast Military Administration, Vitaliy Koval, said that a Russian air strike on western Ukrainian infrastructure has resulted in substantial damage to a television tower, during an interview with Ukrainian TV on March 14.
Koval reports that due to the destruction of the the tower, television and radio broadcasting is unavailable in the region.
A local resident told public broadcaster UA:PBC that she heard a rocket whistling through the air.
“I was awake at the time. Smoke was visible. The windows cracked a little from the blast wave, my family and I hid in a shelter,” the woman recalled.
