Ukraine’s Defense Ministry says almost 12,000 Russian soldiers killed since start of Russian invasion of Ukraine
Almost 12,000 Russian invaders have been killed since the beginning of the Russian full-scale war against Ukraine, Ukraine’s Defense Ministry wrote on Facebook on March 8.
The total combat losses of the enemy from Feb. 24 to March 7 are the following:
- soldiers – almost 12,000;
- tanks – 303;
- APV (Armoured Patrol Vehicle) – 1,036;
- artillery systems – 120;
- MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System) – 56;
- anti-aircraft warfare systems – 27;
- aircraft – 48;
- helicopters – 80;
- vehicles – 474;
- light speed boats – 3;
- fuel tanks – 60;
- UAV operational-tactical level – 7.
“Data are being updated. The calculation is complicated by the high intensity of hostilities,” reads the report.
March 8 marks the 13th day of a full-scale war with Russia.
Ordinary Ukrainians and the Ukrainian military continue to defend themselves, the shelling of Ukrainian cities does not stop.
At the same time, international support is growing – Western countries are increasingly strengthening sanctions against Russia.
