Russian troops shelled the city of Slovyansk on July 7, wounding civilians, announced the head of the local administration, Vadym Lyakh, on Facebook.
"There was shelling again in Slovyansk! And again, the [multiple rockets launchers] struck the Lisnyi and Slovkurort neighborhoods," he wrote.
According to him, there are wounded as a result of the shelling.
"Take care of yourselves. Do not go outside without an urgent need. We are holding on. We are together," Lyakh said.
The mayor noted that Russian troops are shelling Slovyansk in Donetsk Oblast on a daily basis. As a result of the shelling on July 3 alone, 40 houses were destroyed, and a nine-story building was partially destroyed. Lyakh also mentioned how far the Russians are from the city.
