Armed Forces repel enemy attacks near 15 settlements, hit 8 areas of troop concentration

Ukrainian troops repelled enemy attacks in the vicinity of more than 15 settlements in eastern Ukraine over the past day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported on Telegram on Dec. 18, the 298th day of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian army repelled enemy attacks around Stelmakhivka and Serebryanske Forest in Luhansk Oblast, and Verkhnyokamianske, Vyimka, Vesele, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Nevelske and Krasnohorivka in Donetsk Oblast.
Over the past day, Ukrainian missile and artillery units also hit eight areas of Russian troop concentrations, two command posts and four ammunition depots.
Meanwhile, the enemy continues to shell Ukrainian settlements along the entire front line.
Over the past 24 hours, the invasion forces have launched five missile attacks, as well as 42 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.
The command of the occupying forces plans to introduce a 24-hour curfew in settlements in the occupied territories of Zaporizhzhya Oblast. Thus, in the settlement of Chernihivka, the specified restrictions will be introduced from Dec. 25, and in the city of Berdyansk – from Dec. 30, 2022 to Jan. 3, 2023.
There continues to be a threat of enemy air and missile attacks on critical infrastructure facilities throughout Ukraine, the General Staff said.
