To date, more than 10 million Ukrainians have either been issued with COVID-19 vaccination certificates, are recovering from the virus, or a have received a negative PCR test result, Ukraine’s Health Ministry said in a Facebook post on Jan. 18.

Of the 10 million, 9.6 million citizens have proof of a full double-dose vaccination, and 483,000 of a single vaccine jab, the post said.

Additionally, the ministry informed that 300,000 certificates of coronavirus recovery have been issued, as well as 14,000 negative PCR test certificates.

The European Union recognized Ukrainian COVID-19 vaccination certificates, available in the Diia e-governance app, in August 2021. This ruling allowed Ukrainians to travel across the continent with relative ease.
