Russian missile attack on Kyiv kills at least 8, injures 24

At least eight civilians were killed and another 24 were injured as a result of a Russian missile attack on the capital city of Kyiv early on Oct. 10, Ukrainian Interior Ministry advisor Rostyslav Smirnov wrote on Facebook.

According to Smirnov, all those killed and wounded were the residents of Kyiv’s central Shevchenkivskyi district.

Russia launched a series of missile strikes at the capital city, in particular the central districts, early on Oct. 10.

At the same time, many other Ukrainian oblasts have also been attacked by Russia.
