Azerbaijan to provide Ukraine with fuel for sowing campaign, Zelensky says

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev has agreed to help Ukraine by providing fuel for the sowing campaign.

The Ukrainian leader announced this on his Twitter account after having talks with Aliyev.

“I thanked (Aliyev) for the humanitarian aid and readiness to provide fuel for sowing,” Zelensky wrote.

The Ukrainian President also noted that he had informed the leader of Azerbaijan about new strikes by the Russian aggressor against Ukraine’s civilian population.

“We discussed the urgent necessity for green (evacuation) corridors,” Zelensky added.

Earlier, speaking at the 20th Doha Forum in Qatar, Zelensky said that any shortage of food exports from Ukraine would affect many countries.
