Belarusian troops spotted near Melitopol, city mayor says

Belarusian troops have been housed for three weeks a settlement close to the city of Melitopol in Zaporizhzhya Oblast, the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, has claimed on Espreso TV.
"In Myrne near Melitopol locals have spotted soldiers from Belarus, it's a military unit with soldiers and officer personnel," he said.
He noted a large number of the occupiers' troops come to the villages every day.
"Almost every day we receive reports about 200-300 more Russian soldiers moving to one of the villages," added the mayor.
According to him, officers move into empty houses or evict people from their houses. mobilized soldiers are settled on the streets.
