The White House will ask the U.S. Congress to allocate additional funding for Ukraine military aid on Aug. 10, according to a report by Politico.

The anonymous sources also told Politico that this emergency funding request will include help for Taiwan and money to assist those affected by natural disasters.

At the moment, no additional details are known about the requested amount or its precise designation. On Aug. 8, CNN reported that President Joe Biden's administration is working on a request for additional Ukraine funding. This request will be ready for congressional review this fall.
