U.S. President Joe Biden will visit Poland in late February, where he will meet with Polish President Andrzej Duda, CNN reported on Feb. 10.
According to the White House, the visit is slated for February 20-22.
“He wants to talk about the importance of the international community’s resolve and unity in supporting Ukraine for now going on a year,” said John Kirby, White House national security spokesman.
The president will also hold meetings with other regional leaders.
CNN adds that one year ago, Biden was the first world leader to talk about the inevitability of a Russian invasion of Ukraine, while Washington’s allies remained skeptical.
Earlier, the media reported that U.S. President Joe Biden may meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Polish President Andrzej Duda in Warsaw or Rzeszów.
