Canada has imposed sanctions against 22 Russian citizens in response to the Kremlin’s invasion of Ukraine, the website of Canadian government reported on May 31.

The list includes Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s alleged girlfriend, Alina Kabaeva, and two daughters of Russian businessman Mikhail Fridman.

Sanctions were also imposed against four Russian companies: Investment Trade Bank PJSC, Russian Agricultural Bank, RVC Management Company LLC and Russian Direct Investment Fund.

On May 13, the UK imposed sanctions against Kabaeva, Putin’s ex-wife Lyudmila Ocheretnaya, and his cousins.
